Hello,
Does anyone know which relay controls ESP on C180 203?
If possible, location & part number.
Thanks in anticipation.

Malcolm,
Yes, & reset the windows etc. Fault intermittent, that's why I thought it may be a relay.

The ESP control module can get oxidation on the contacts of the ESP module, the fix is to replace the wiring to the module, the fault is on pins 3-5-7 in the connector. I would get a good quality switch cleaner -lubricant and clean them up and see how that goes.

The fault code is C1185 if you have the codes read out.

This must be the easiest thing to try yourself, there other faults listed, but this one fits the bill

Hi Rukako,

Thats as far as I got. Still have the problem. (intermittent) If I restart after a long run message disappears .... odd isn't it.
