Sorry to disappoint you but the mid life crisis analogy was about our new and very expensive custom built train set.
Politicians carrying out the will of the people after a democratic vote (despite personal preferences in some cases) seems quite responsible to me.

To be fair, I did this. That then means comparing my ex wife to a bloated, overstuffed, deeply troubled EU shackled to its two main parents... actually it’s quite an accurate comparison!!!
