Went to several of those when I was a Police Officer, but the hardest job was always the death message.
Having to tell the family that one of theirs won't be coming home again.

Same here, and still as terrifying as it was when it was made 10 years ago. Was at the receiving end of such a driver. Smashed into the rear of a parked car, and killed two people. Still fresh in my mind as the night it happened, and that was a long time ago.

i agree it is shocking, but it also shows that in 1 particular clip, that it is PEDESTRIANS and not JUST drivers that need to be more aware of what is going on. the guy stepping into the road carrying a takeaway (chips or similar) just walked into the road without stopping, looking in the wrong direction for oncoming traffic as he did so. i get fed up of such accidents being blamed 100% of the time on drivers.

One of the scariest places is the car park. Motorists become pedestrians and pedestrians become motorists, right before our eyes. I see stupid driving and dopey pedestrians constantly. In the end we have to acknowledge that the motorist is the one with the deadly weapon.

I must admit I do habitually break the speed limit, thinking I am still safe.
I need to slap myself.

Unable to watch the film. However last week I saw something that proves some people do not learn.

Travelling around a 3 lane roundabout, at one set of lights a VW Polo had gone into the back of a Ford Raptor. The two lads involved, probably in their 30s were discussing as I passed them. At the next roudabout I was sitting at red lights and the same Polo came skidding to a halt and would have rear-ended me had I not seen him coming and moved quickly out of the way. His car came to a rest where my car was seconds earlier. Traffic lights still on red.
