UPDATE. MPG RESTORED!

fitted a new 15 quid fuel temp sensor today.
Did 30 motorway miles at constant 60 mph and got a return of 48 MPG.

before this I would be getting mid thirties.

Will keep an eye on it but so far so good.

Thanks for following it up. I am getting 30 -32 MPG on motorways.

When you start the car after parking for more than 4 hours, what fuel consumption does your display shows in instrument cluster. Mine starts up with 6.9 litres/100km. Just curious to know. Thanks in advance.

My mpg at cold start up was 38.4 mpg. Goes down obviously but goes up again now when the engine is hot.

Get it on live data and look at the fuel temperature. If it's in really low minus figures when the engine is hot. Change it. That would be the first place I'd look now i know. Mine was hesitant within the first mile. Felt like it was holding off on the boost. But now it drives like it's warm straight away. Hope this helps.

My car computer on cold start always shows 6.9l/100km (34 mpg) reading which goes down to 28 mpg in city and on highway gives 34-35 mpg.
I am looking to improve it with no luck.

Have you tried the fuel sensor I've mentioned?

Hello everyone.

I've changed the cam sensor and crank sensor also. Solved the MPG issues instantly.

Still need to take off the turbo actuator. Just not had time......

Thank you all for your much needed input......
