Hi again, I'm on my home stretch with my last few repairs. Thanks for all the help.
I had a problem with my 'EXH TEMP' Light not coming on when the ignition was turned on. I got the Speedo Cluster off without removing the steering wheel thanks to some good ideas.
I asked on another forum, and they said it was to do with the Catalitic converter and lights up when the temperatures get too high. Only 2 of the light positions were in use on the Speedo cluster: Number 5 (Wiper Fluid), and 6 (No Label on the front).
Could it be that the light in #6 should have been in #1 (EXH TEMP)?
This is the colour of each segment: 1=Red, 2=Green, 3=Red, 4=Red, 5=Orange, 6=Orange.
When I turned the ignition on, the Orange #5 Positon always lit up and went away. But I read somwhere that that is the 'Lights Continuity Test' (ie. no bulbs blown). Is that right?
I have one more question. I have 3 Wires with a single pin, which went into position A and B, but the 3rd one was not connected.
Where could it go?
Every gauge was working, but it may have come off when i was removing the Speedo cable.
