Exhaust interchangeability - Is a E300 T saloon's the same as E300 TD estate?

Notice a second hand exhaust for sale from a R reg E300 T diesel (saloon). Will this fit my 1999 E300 TD Estate, or are they different?

PS - The T and TD signifiers are significant, aren't they - how do they translate again?

I suspect it'll be like the W124 - the back boxes are different

To be honest i would be surprised if an exhaust from an R reg car was in a condition worth spending time and money fitting to another car.

Can you get an exhaust from Bosal?

How much os a merc one £400 or so...

I just replaced my back box on my 124 estate. Got a 'premium' one from GSF for about 100 squidlies.

E300 exhaust compatibility

The exhaust I'm looking at is from the W210 E Class and is stainless steel front part, normal for the rear section so worth looking at (IMHO).

Question still stands now that I've clarified it's for the same series of E Class?
