Exhaust Noise

My CLK 220 CDI sounds as if my exhaust is 'blowing'. Before I get embroiled with the dealer can anybody please tell me if this noise is normal ?

Any help would be appreciated

Should be fairly obvious - clap your hand over the end of the tailpipe & you'll know if it's knackered!
