exhaust popping

I fitted a Rage Back box and cut my centre silencer out on my Merc 190E. When I rev the car, Change up or down gear my exhaust Pops.

Is this the Rage back box producing the sound (as it never did it whith the standard exhaust).

The main question is, If I remove my Catalytic Converter, Will I still get this sound or not? I realy want my Cat off, but I realy want to keep this sound as well

That's because you've got an air leak in the system
