Sorry; It was an "in house" warranty.
As in, underwritten by Mercedes UK, or similar part of Mercedes, or was it underwritten by someone like RAC?

A google search gives:

"A pioneer of electronic warranty claims submission, Mondial Assistance applies factory warranty administration principles and processes to used and extended warranties, saving dealers time, effort and money. Contracts include BMW, Mercedes, Mazda, VW, Audi and Citroen. The dedicated manufacturer warranty renewal website has demonstrated growth in the sales of retail warranty by providing retailers and consumers with the ability to choose appropriate benefits."

Good luck robert ..heres hoping....any good reason why you have been gagged..

I was a bit hasty in my quest for justice and made the mistake of letting my heart rule my head and not researching enough.

How many of you out there think that by using the small claims court you will escape legal fees of the other side if you lose as I did?

There was, of course, the applications which went before the Court that were dissmissed as being "totally without merit" (not counting the applications against Mondial).

I had run out of money for proffesional legal advice and was stumbling along on my own but, Mercedes-Benz have no problem with money so it was only a matter of time before the Civil Restraint Order was granted.

There is an application for a wider Restraint Order waiting for a date but, there have only been very few granted, 36 I understand, so Mercedes-Benz may be whisiling in the wind on that one.

I would hazard a guess that Mercedes-Benz are abusing the law in the dealings with their customer complaints if my experence is anything to go by.

Mercedes-Benz have only themselves to blame for Plan B as I have given them enough warnings over these past years and I even informed them the name of the proposed book of this whole sorry mess:

Mercedes-Benz; Death of a Reputation

That title should make a best seller Robert ?

I do hope so as I am investing in a writing course at Birkbeck, University of London to improve my skills.

A monologe would be boring, a two hunderd page "rant", so it will be in the form of a diary. I am reading the Harold Nicholson Diaries 1907-1963 to make a start at formulating the chapter titles.

Its all planned out and so far so good; And I thought I would be bored when I retired:)

I am off to collect, for a home visit, my new dog and no, its not called Mercedes;Tilly. She is a small JRT with big ears and a long tail, just like me:p

Have you considered starting a blog site about your adventures with MB?

No, not until Plan B has reached its conclusion. I wonder if I can sell the film rights? Michael Moore might be interested as he likes multi-nationals. Any suggestions for the cast?

And then say it isn't his fault so they should just cough up for new premises...

I suspect the current one means he can't contact MBUK, but the wider ranging one might include any form of communication on this subject.

Seriously your just spending more and more money, call it a day. They arent going to be bothered by a book and it will have little or no impact on their sales. How many people you think will buy your book?
