The E Class being half way through its life has got a face lift.
With new wheels, back lights, new front and bumpers with fog lamps. there is a new V8 of 5.5 liters, and the E350 gets the new CGI engine.

Malcolm.

For DC insider, here is another one for you, to find fault with.

Looks to be from the 'Porsche' school of model updates.

it looks a bit more thought out i wonder how it will affect residuals of the previous spec car. We pay more for our cars in this country and the second hand values when you come to sell are the lowest in Europe.

Which is why I buy nearly new :D. First owner can deal with all the initial burn in warranty issues.
Drive the deal have some good deals on new E320cdi's at the moment because of the face lift model.

Not when it comes to diesels, through the new regs in Sweden a two year old is almost worthless. As you say cars are expensive here, shame that our steering wheels are on the wrong side

I was thinking the same. They have fitted the full digi climate, the front bumper and grill are a bit different (not really for the better IMO) and they've made the slightest change to the tail lights and mirrors. Allegedly they've changed the side skirts but the ones in the pics look identical to what mine has so ??
Anyone who isn't a Merc fanatic won't be able to tell the difference.
I guess basically, don't mess with a winning formula.
As far as waiting for the new ones are concerned, you can wait forever. There is always something nicer on the way! Ok my 270 isn't as smooth or fast as the new 280, but it is pretty smooth, quite quick and has a better mpg into the bargain.
