A bit off topic I know, but this is a car product...

My 4 year old plastic front door has faded terribly, but Race Glaze Colour Enhance to the rescue ! This took me about 5 minutes and shows the versatility of this amazing product.
The best home improvment anyone could make for less than a tenner !

Impressive but I've not seen a (composite?) door that's faded as much as that

Its a west facing 4 year old house, over open countryside. There are 30+ in a row, all the same.

Lent my bottle to a neighbour last night, he has inherited a 2008 Ford Ka with faded plastic bumpers. Its a time warp car, 10,500m, always garaged, headlights like new and no chips, but this made such a difference. Should have taken pics. He's bought his own bottle now.

Speaking of aging front doors, I have been trying to find where I can get my Victorian/Edwardian front door refurbished given it's odd dimensions or perhaps a new wooden door with a modern locking system, made.... any recommendations please?

Some firms have been promising but they just want to rip out the whole door frame and I would rather get a door made to fit the existing frame...

Thank you in advance!

You need to find a traditional joiners that can repair your existing door. It is amazing what a good joiner can do with all the right tools.

OP great looks on the door. Sadly modern stuff is just crap. Plastic should be maintenance free. Good old wooden doors/windows last forever if maintained.

Faded plastics use a hot air gun on them but be careful you don't melt them.

I’ve been reading up on various paints recently and think that Zinsser Allcoat Exterior would be a good candidate for painting doors.
There are both water and oil based versions available.

I recently bought a Wagner HVLP sprayer and will try this on my sliding patio door frames.
