faile central locking w210

Hi my central locking, windows, seats brake lights do not work, alarm goes when doors opened and engine starts.
all fuses and door switches checked, HELP,
any ideas it must be a control module but which one???
1998 E320 Avangard,
Any ideas would be appreciated.

have a look under the back seat next to the battery. there you will find a control unit encased in foam. disconnect the electrical plugs and check for ANY signs of damp or corrosion. also check the foam to see if it is perfectly dry.
