I bought this product last year but have just got around to needing it. Brushing off the frozen snow on Sunday I managed to put a small scratch in the clearcoat just above the door handle.

I washed the car today to remove the road salt and filth and decided to use this scratch remover to see if its as good as it claims.
I wish I'd taken before and after photos because a couple of minutes rubbing this compoubd across the scratch has completely removed it. Nothing, not a sign. I'm well impressed although realise other products can do the job, but if you are wondering, yes it will remove slight scratches. 20180321_164130.jpg

Did you apply it by hand Roger? I've tried a few cutting compounds, currently using a new Sonax one with a green hex pad but never found a decent one for hand application.

I have a good few fine scratches on the roof and boot lid on the 190 where it seems that the previous owner was using the car as a shelf system for stacking stuff on. Coupled with an earlier pretty poor respray it's in a bit of a state. I'm going to have a go with it this week using a machine polisher, even though I know I won't get it perfect without paint. I'll be happy if I can get it something like respectable, possibly for Horndean in May. :)

Used it in the past and yes it does well on small scratches. I've used it mainly by hand as I didn't want it to take too much.

Applied by hand Dave. I wasn't expecting a result but the stuff surprised me.

I have used the Chemical guys range by hand, its quite aggressive though, and had a use a DA and Hex pads to remove the haze I had left after wards. Did work to remove the scratch though.

Amongst others yes.
Doh! Should have known the answer since I found a bottle in the garage I’d forgotten I had for when I removed some scratches on the top of the bumper on the A6 Avant before I said goodbye...

I had this in the garage and tried, I'm not sure if it's my technique but I struggled to remove some scratches with it.
