I'm looking for some help with some fault codes please. I've just changed thd head gasket on my 2000 x reg vito 2.2 cdi. I'm currently in limp mode and a mate with a snap on code readr had read the following codes

P1482
P1481
P1622

The first 2 acording to the code reader are glow plug codes, I fitted new glow plugs when I changed the head gasket. They both clear then come back the P1622 won't clear and is according the reader is a switch out v/v.

Thank you in advance for any help I receive.

In an effort it assist any fault diagnosis here is what we did last night. Plugged in the code read and checked codes it came up with 5 in total, cleared the codes (the 1622 wouldn't clear) started the engine and checked the codes again it came up with the 3 I listed above. Cleared the codes again still the 1622 won't clear, i drove it around the block and checked codes again, still the 3 listed above. We then stopped looking at the van and drank some cider awaiting google info/advice from you good people.

I found the fuel cut off valve connection was loose. It's now on and I've cleared the edc light and the limp mode.

Hi Gillsfan.

Same problems here it seems. Though from what i can gather Y75 is specific to the Vacuum Valve under driver wing?????

did you find any other definitive proof of the problem?

Cheers. My head is done in!

I should also add though that my fuel cut off valve is not connected (fuel wise anyway) It's been off a while and rusted in the closed position. I have access to OBDII and cleared it several times with no improvement.
