The car goes into limp mode normally when accelerating but it can be at low acceleration levels too. I use my glovebox scanner to reset the ECU and read the stored code. I intend to replace the QUANTITY VALVE and the FUEL TEMP SENSOR as both of these have a bearing on fuel rail pressure. I have checked the quantity valve using my Star Diagnostics. It checks out fine, which means nothing as the fault is intermittent.
Does anyone have any experience of this fault code ? I think changing both components should fix the problem as I need the car for work and can't afford the luxury of changing just one to see if i fix it as a big strip down is required to get to them both so while in there I may as well change both
