Fault codes and their cures

Someone should compile a table of Fault Codes and their fixes. I can start by saying I had code P2600 occur on my 2012 W204 220 CDI. No system reaction. Cured with Part No.
A 002 540 70 97 - Switch over valve.
I also have a very intermittent code P0252, been going on for years, appears a few times a year, but I just keep erasing it using a generic OBD code reader. I can now make the fault occur by using cruise control at 70mph, switch it off, slow to 50mph, then switch cruise control back on. As it accelerates back up to 70 the engine light comes on and records P0252.
Anyone have any ideas? I've read about possible Fuel Rack Position sensor. Don't know if that is a thing?

Do your tyres all have the same amount of tread? CC will not work if (say) one tyre is lower than the rest and it could be that when you hit 70 the difference exceeds the parameters. There will no doubt be a lot of others

Impossible. Error codes have a domino effect . A faulty brake pedal switch for instance will trigger canbus faults for the abs,esp, plus loads of other safety critical features. It's don't point a big finger and say this is the first faulty item.

Anyone wanting to know a definition of a fault code needs to go no further than Google or OBD2 error codes for mercedes .

Getting the codes is the easy part , deciphering them is another.
