Faulty Fuel Gauge CLK 230

Hi, the fuel gauge in the dashboard cluster has stopped working and just reads empty, even when I fill it up. I have checked the two fuse boxes but there doe not seem to be a fuse for the gauge. Has anyone got an idea what is causing this and how to fix it. Thanks in advance for any help, Rgs

Sounds like a faulty tank sender

Depends on the car, on my w124 had take out the rear bench and was pretty straight forwards.
Have you asked goggle for your model.
