Finding Out Which Service Was Needed

Hi,

I have just bought a late S212 E350 Bluetec and I wondered if it is possible to find out what the car was asking for the last time it was serviced? I know it wanted a B service around this coming July according to Assyst, but I'm not sure what else and the dealer agreed to carry out the service as part of the purchase.

I ask this because I am having a very difficult time getting the supplying dealer to give a record of the service they carried out (I have now requested it six times) which is starting to make me wonder if they just reset the service indicator without doing the work. If I can't get a record of the work I want to have the service done despite the car now not asking for it but would really like to know what it wanted. The supposed services hasn't been logged online with Mercedes.

Thank you,

Matt.

After a lot of chasing I finally managed to get the service record and all is well, although I'd still be interested to know if the above is possible.

Matt.

Independents (like me) have access to the online DSB. Work up a few more posts and you’ll get access to personal messaging.

I am having mine B1 serviced and a brake fluid change by a local Indy this coming Tuesday. Previously it has been serviced by a main Stealer. As it is now out of warranty, plus the Indy being more local it's going to the Indy. Will the service record still go online or will I only have the hard copy, which I would keep anyway.

Check with the independent garage that they have access to the DSB. Most reputable ones do ;)

Also, for other users, us indies will keep your MB main dealer warranty intact, so you can chose to service with us, keep the DSB up to date and get the best of both worlds. We have had a few cars in for their first service.

Thank you. I don't think the recent service was added to the DSB as the service booking section on the Mercedes website is showing the last service mileage as being the service before that. At least I have the hard copy showing the work that has been done now.
