I'm not sure whether I have the MY01 update on my Comand. I currently have a 2001 UK disc and I understand that I cannot test predictive text as it doesn't work on a 2001 disc (that's what I've read on previous threads anyway). I do however get the MB startup logo.
Want to ensure that MY01 is applied so that...
1) Battery drain problem is not an issue.
2) Predicitive text is active in NAV mode when I get the latest disc.
3) Enable writing SMS messages direct in Comand unit.
I also have Liguatronic however it recognises only a small range of commands under PHONE, RADIO and CD. It doesn't recognise NAVIGATION (verified by using HELP). Will a firmware update enable further commands to be recognised by Linguatronic??
