hiya guys n girls just baught my first mercedes.wow wish id got one earlier.its a 91 190 1.8 auto with 73k and full mb service history.ive had a good nose around the car and come across a small round white plastic knob in the boot near the right hand shocker.ive pulled it out and it turns,but ive no idea what it does.any ideas folks

It sounds like it's the fine adjustment for the sunroof, (leave alone!) there should be a plastic nut just beside it which is the manual winder if the sunroof motor fails.
