First time CL

I just became the mega-chuffed owner of one of my bucket list cars, a beaut 2002 CL500, so I figured I ought to share my joy with some fellow enthusiasts. I'm looking forward to sharing the experience and learning more about how to look after the beast.

I’ve got a set of Alioth Split rims listed in the classifieds they were an option wheel for the C215.

They are wonderful, but can have some expensive issues - however here is a superb source of info.

First thing you need to do is find an excellent Indie (Mercedes specialist) local to you.

Where are you based, and someone will probably know a really good local specialist for you...

Plenty on here own these beasts, and with some knowledge you can run them for sensible money....

Thanks MBD. I used to have an W220 and did quite a few jobs on that myself, so I know the range pretty well. I used to use Boxer Motors in Feltham, and I may use them again, but I now live in Slough, so if anyone has any good recommendations around here I'd be interested to know.

Is Ian @star , Star Service MB specialist , near Reading any good for you
