First time Mercedes owner

Hi all, newbie Mercedes owner here. My name is Andy and I am in Exeter, just bought a 64 plate E220 bluetec estate. Only had it for a couple of weeks and am well impressed with the quality, just need to get the mpg up nearer the official figures!!

Hello and welcome

Unless you have a dynamometer to run the car on in a sealed room you won’t get near the official figures.

Best you can do is pump the tyres to the maximum, empty the boot, go on a crash diet and never brake for anything (other than UFO’s) and keep the speed down to 65 max (56 if you really want to mega-mile)
