Without remapping the engine it won’t do much... and then you could go a long way by remapping the engine without changing the turbo...

A larger turbo will take longer to spool up, you will have more power at the top end but next to nothing at lower revs.

No.
The only physically bigger bolt on you can "possibly fit" that will improve performance is the charge cooler / inter-cooler.

A blended map will see the 647 push 225bhp, go for a full power map and you can see very close to 240 with no parts changed

Be careful to check which gearbox you have to ensure you don't overstress it.

You mean, just wing it and see what happens? ;)

If thec270 uses a WA580 then not likely to be a problem but if it's a WA330.......

My old 270 from 03 was the 580 Alistair, so I'd be pretty comfortable saying this one will be the same

it will go slower..... you will lose pick up off the line and the waste gate / electronics will limit the boost to same at the top end as u have now....

Use the 320CDI OM613, Garrett GT2359V.

Replace the MAP sensor
3bar A006 153 9928
4bar A007 153 0028

Ideally find a bigger inter cooler.

Then re-map.

The AMG 8 hole nozzles are a nice addition if you can find them these days.

iirc
There were some Finnish guys doing 270cdi modding

A bigger turbo will force more air in, even if it is at the same pressure. As long as you supply more fuel to the extra air you now have, power will increase.

Only if it adds more fuel.
