Fitting a kenlowe fan

The viscous fan on my E230 W210 is not working and as I have a spare electric fan I am thinking about fitting it. Fuse 6 is marked up for a cigar lighter (optional) and is not used so the live side for the fuse is there, but how do I connect the output side of the fuse, is it a standard 1/4" spade terminal. I don't fancy taking out one of the installed connectors in case I can't get it back.

Your Mercedes
BMW 525 Diesel Touring
Electric fans pull lots of current so I'd use a variable thermostat (Kenlowe make one) and a high-current relay to switch a fused feed direct from the battery

Like most Mercedes "upgrades" it's easier & more successful to just repair what was on the car originally

I suppose you'r right, why introduce another set of potential problems. I must learn not to twiddle. I sometimes miss my Disco, that was a great car for twiddling, loads of room and nice and basic.
