Hi,

I dont know if anyone has experienced problems when installing a sony radio CD player to a mercedes 190E 2.6.

I have bought an adapter that allows the two plugs, brown and black to be plugged into the main port on the device, but I am having trouble connecting the arial. Does this need an adapter too?

Electric or manual aerial? You can get a little adaptor that goes on the end of the wire and into the back of the stereo. Try Halfords or a car stereo shop. Probably less than £2.49.

Its an electric aerial that automatically pops up when the radio switches on. I have tried to indert the areal into the socket but it seems to be too big. Is halfords my best bet for this then?

There's two types of aerial plug/ socket, and Halfords will sell adaptors to convert either way.
