Hi, everyone! The front passenger side window on my 1991 500sl was badly (and I mean badly!) scratched, as it had been lightly used, but scratched by trapped debris in the seal. I've got the seal spotlessly clean and been lucky enough to source a used (but excellent) window glass, complete with mounting rail from ebay. I can do the door card thing, thanks to info from yourselves. Anybody got any tips for fitting the new glass? Do I need to adjust the riser rails after fitting? Any tips gratefully received, thanks in anticipation!

Its a pleasure,,you may need some more info on setting the glass up as SAM said.

The main thing is,,all of the window rail fixings will have left a mark as to where they were, so when you do up the fixing screws, if you use the existing marks you will not go far wrong
