Fitting srs control unit

Having purchased a used srs control unit which has the same part number as mine can it be fitted without visiting the merc dealer or is it not as simple as that? regards AA

srs control unit is a once only coded, cant be swapped to another car!!!

If that's the case why are all these breakers offering them with 90 day warranty, I would have thought that what you say would have been common knowledge among merc breakers and there would be no point in wasting everybody's time!!! AA

This can often be the case after a accident the control unit is damaged after deployment, do you know if the car was envolved in a smash before

Often They dont know there arse from there elbows!!!!

Certianlly no technical Knowledge !!
