I have started to notice cracks in the wooden steering wheel's resin coating. It remains intact, but the cracks are definitely coming through to the surface. I have tried to see if there are any remedies I could undertake myself and have not come up with much. Would welcome any advice, and/or specialist restoration recommendations please. Thank you.

It needs sanding out and then spraying in 2K clearcoat, flatting smooth then respraying and polishing. No other option I’m afraid.

Thank you very much and will give him a call as I couldn’t find any wood trimmed wheels featured on the websites gallery. Admittedly I only looked under MB:)
