Flashing Indicators

My indicators have stopped working, that's not strictly true, they have stopped flashing. They come on, no flash!! It is probaly the flasher unit, but where is it? I have not got a clue. Can any one help. The car? oh, a 1998 SLK230K.

Had a check round mine,The clicking seems to come from behind the facia so it`s posable its located in the fuse panel at the side of the dash !
