Flat battery.. No access??

Alarm started going off this morning and would not switch off with remote (both of them). Eventually stopped after only 10 mins of intermitent working and i open the door with the key...
Now NO power, so i assume its all to do with a flat battery..
BUT i cannot get into the boot to access it.. the key does not turn the lock.
is there another way of powering it up under the bonnet to release the boot ? Or can i access the battery any other way?

Yes, open the bonnet and next to the bulkhead on the nearside is a black box with a red + on it. Connect a positive jump pack/ lead here, the -ve to a part of the chassis and (hopefully) voilla.

Now you have access to the boot it might be a good idea to make sure the lock is free in case this happens again.
