Folding mirrors half closing in / lazy

Mirrors back to normal folding and opening normally after treating with spray lube containing ptfe.Generous dose given on rear opening and hinge area. Info appreciated,hope it helps someone!

I always turn the auto folding mirror option off on my cars. I once had a larger than expected invoice to fix a broken wiring loom on an MB due to mirrors folding automatically.

l almost never fold mine for the same reason.

The W203 C220 CDI Se has the manual buttons so the option to fold or not is a choice. I would fold on occasion depending on location in car parks etc.
