Folding Mirrors

I recently got a 2005 (face lift model) CD 220 Avant Garde, I want the mirrors to fold when I lock the doors. Main dealer wont do it plus I really don't want to pay their extortionate charges. Does anyone know where in Northern Ireland Greater Belfast would be good, but I will travel anywhere in NI) I can get this done and how much it costs?

There is an independant merc guy in or around belfast..if you do a search on here his name will come up..try asking the guys at euro car parts and they will have his number..their no. is 90 689 700

Yes it can be done very easily but you will need someone with STAR diagnosis to switch it on.

Takes about 10 minutes to get it done thats all. Try a different dealer, some will do it and its 30 minutes labour rate thats all. you could ask them to delete UK mode so you can show MPH in the cluster as opposed to KPH (selectable) plus fuel tank content display, cornering lights, tyre pressue loss warning etc.......

are the mirrors the correct ones to fold in? ie are they fitted with the motors or are they standard ones which would have to be replaced and wiring fitted?
