I need an alternator for my 1981 w123 300d. I am Norwegian but currently live in Newcastle. Could anyone please advise as to where I could get a used /reconditioned alternator? Does anyone know an approximate price for changing one at a garage? I would appreciate any feedback

Hej Norseman, you can get a exchange unit from any Bosch agent( titta på gula telefonkatalog) Mycket enkel at goras. very simple to fit, only two bolts and one plug.

still cold here, we had -13.5 last week, coldest winter in Skane in 20 years apparently
