Bit of a moan that is associated with all forums, and not only vehicle ones.
A member comes along and posts a problem, some thing not working, gone wrong.
members try to help, giving advice and tips, the poster then states it will have to go to a garage

And...…….

That's it, we never find out what the issue was as the poster does not enlighten the forum so other members may benefit.

Yes, it does seem that way. I am sometimes late doing it as I often post for research purposes before being ready to attempt a fix but seems common courtesy if people are helping!

Sadly too many people today just happy to take and never think of giving. Doesn’t take much effort to say thank you and give a little feedback does it?

Agree with all above , thank goodness there is some members that do there best for you. I have had lots of help and have tried to help where possible.

If you do a google search you’ll find the same “urgent” question posted across multiple forums with various answers and rarely updates. It’s disappointing but just the way it is.

Some stay, some just pop in once and are never seen again. Others appear to have a life sentence...

I will be about until I do not own a Mercedes, but I have found that members will also help out with other makes.
