They said they reset it electronically yesterday and the lamp did go out but it's back on now. They were adamant that changing the pads had nothing to do with it but of course they would say that regardless. If this sensor is not near the wheels maybe it is just a coincidence.
I can't find any info online about transition sensors. Could it be called something else? Is there any other sensor connected to the the gearbox that could cause ESP problems?
