I'd go with the OEM. At least with those you won't get any squealing and also it will keep you Mobilo Warranty / Service if you have one intact as you have used genuine parts.

I would be tempted by the brembo brand, they are a tried n trusted brand, and you may find that they work extemely well..and if warranty raises its ugly head stick the old ones on again..(keep em safe)

I do not think that the brake disc are ever checked for not being OE unles the car was in for a brake fault, Brembo are good

I don,t have any warranty left on it anyway so that side of it doesn,t really matter,i just wondered which you guys thought would be the better quality.

Brembo will not last any longer, check the MB price or TMD disc from your local motor factor

BTW, I went with stock MB rotors and pads but I added Goodridge stainless steel braided hoses and I love them.

For less than £50 you'll have significantly improved feel and power.

Just my 2c's

Different i know, but i put a set of MB Discs and pads on the front of my sprinter. Never again. what an absolute pile of.

They shudder, rumble, get warm very quickly and fade under heavy load, have worn quickly (which i'm glad about). I've got about 8000 miles out of them.
I shall be putting something else on them shortly (when i have my fueling problem sorted) discs too.

Very disappointed. MB say, there is clearly nothing wrong with them, they stop the van without problems (which they do).

Replacing disks and pads isnt as straight forward as just remove and replace, all crud and crust needs to be removed from the calipers, any surface of the caliper that has contact with the pads edge needs to be smooth and clean, all pins and spring plates either replaced or cleaned.

Hubs where the disk bolts too needs all rust removed so the surface is smooth and flat. Brake grease needs to be used in several places as specified by MB.

I can change front disks and pads (both fronts) in under an hour but to do it properly takes easily an hour per corner.

The result is better longer lasting brakes. Took two hours to recondition one caliper on my CL today.

Go with Brembo, they are very good and not known to squeal like most other cheaper brands. Make sure you check the pads are either textar or ATE

Nothing wrong with Brembo, I have them on the front and they're just fine. No squealing etc. I've just put Eicher discs and pads on the rear and so far they've been fine as well. I had planned to put ATE on but ECP didn't have them in stock.

Brembo pads are OE on certain set ups on MB cars
