It is clipped on with large metal clips. Use a screwdriver to prise them off.

Turn them on for a while when driving and they should clear

Did a front end on a 210 a few weeks ago and cleaned up the fogs before fitting them, the clips holding the lens to the spotlamp have a little hole in them on the lamp side, if you insert a small terminal screwdriver into the hole and prise forward the clips will come off easy. dont be tempted to wipe the chromed reflector or you will ruin it, run it under a tap and blow dry..

Its also possible that the bulb holder may be loose or incorrectly fitted , the bulb and holder have to be turned 90deg. for the holder to seal..

removed front sl55 grill mesh. 3 metal clips holding the glass in. one clip easy to remove. 2 potentially more difficult to remove/replace...any suggestions please

The lamps are removed by taking down the front half of the wheel arch liner, just remove the bottom screws and those ½ way up, you do not have to take them right off, then just unbolt the lamp

Make sure the seals for the bulb holders are not split, as the lamp cools i.e at night after they have been used on a journey the dense air coming in from an usealed part condenses.
