Hi All,

New front pads/disc are due for my Mercedes car (C220 D 64 plate) and I got a parts quote for around £268 from stealers. Is this reasonable? Is it possible to purchase these parts elsewhere which are as good and a little cheaper?

Thanks

Will it be significantly cheaper? I find MB dealers very expensive. Maybe I can check Halfords?

Dont be silly..... stick with OE Mercedes, lots of aftermarket have fitment issues. Ask a MB indy, they get discount and pass on the discount to the cutomer (usually) and fitting will be cheaper.

Been covered to death....

Forget anything Pagid as ECP bought the OE division and cheaped out .

Brembo discs get my vote , and the genuine Mercedes brake pads will be Ferodo Eco Friction .

Fronts will always be vented , you need to find out your disc diameter size .

Looks the same size but the difference I see on the website is: one is Vented/Perforated and the other one is just Vented.

Whats the difference between the two?

Thanks, i could buy either? Whats the benefit of perforated discs?
heat dissipation.

Go for original pal. Too many questions is a tad indicative that you are very uncertain with all due respect.
