FRONT/REAR WIPERS DEAD - FUSE OK

Says it all really, no warning - they just stopped. Car is 1985 W123 230te, wipers & washers all stopped working when my wife tried to go somewhere yesterday. Needless to say they worked fine for me all day!

Anyone know what else is common other than the fuse to give me somewhere to start looking?

Lesson 1 - If it looks like the fuse and you think its the fuse, it probably is the fuse. :oops:

Lesson 2 - If you search on the right word you will almost certainly find someone who has had a similar problem

Lesson 3 - For W123 owners, the fuse can burn out in a nice neat circle at the clip that holds it in leaving it looking ok. Pull it out to check.

Lessons learnt and from such a small thing too. Maybe this will help others - maybe noone else is this daft..
