Hi guys,

Need some help please. On our 2017 B180d, got this message on the dash, with the airbag sign?

Only other thing that is affected is the horn, which has stopped working.

Can anyone offer any guidance please?

Car hasn't been in any accidents or bumps, this has just randomly come on.

I've attached a picture with the car on ignition and running so you can see the dash lights.

Thanks.

All things fail out the blue.....
Not uncommon in any car.
search online for a diy procedure everyrhing is possible.
The DTC may well need clearing after the problem is fixed as its a safety critical component.

Assuming it is if course contact spiral.

Get it fixed asap as it would be a MOT failure if thats due.

Just had it checked, and yep, its that doughnut thing, otherwise known as the steering "Control Unit Complete".
£350 and a dealer only part, plus the fitting plus the reset.

Merry Christmas I guess..........
