fuel consumption?

I have just bought a c200 elegance what kind of mileage should i expect from a full tank ? I know it depends on lots of factors but a rough idea would be great. so far i have managed 30 miles on quarter tank. It is petrol auto.m thanks

i get 250 miles on each £40 i put in which is 25mpg w regd elegance 200 auto 144k

Best way to check is to fill to the brim, run till below say 1/4 full, then refill . You can then check MPG. re the 30 miles on quarter tank - could be tank sender isn't 100% accurate. As for mileage - how long's a bit of string ? Short trips around town with kickdown = sub 20mpg, whereas long motoway trips will almost double that

My C200 1995 used to do up to about 35 - 38 MPG open road - from memory. 115 Km cruising.
