Does anyone here knows how to adjust the air fuel ratio in a w124 model

With an alen key in the top of the throtle body, do not push so as to open the throtle, just a light touch to engage the key in the adjuster,½ turn is enough to stop the engine.

It would depend on whether or not your 124 is fitted with a cat. If it has a cat then I am afraid that you cannot re set it as it is all ECU controlled. Malcolm is right in the instance of non cat vehicles. Clockwise to enrich, anti clockwise to lean off. Miniscule turns are all that are required but make sure that the engine is up to running temp.
