Hi I have a 1994 124 series 280te. As normal fuel tank knacked up so changed for a good one. while doing it I noticed the return pipe looked a little ripe so have replaced that also. I now seem to have a fuel leak that I cannot find but as you go down a hill with the thottle off and a window or the suroof open there is a strong smell of fuel. I thought that it may be the pipes to and from the charcoal filter. ( Is that situated at the front of the car) Can it be removed and what is it purpose. Can anyone pls help me?????

Cheers Dean
