Need some help. Horrendous fuel loss when going over 65mph. Fuel sprayed all over the underside of the van from the prop to the rear and over the back doors. MPG figures are ok when travelling long distances and keeping under this speed. Any ideas where I should be looking for the leak?

As its not affecting engine performance its probably leaking from somewhere between the fuel tank and the high pressure fuel pump, this type of leak is very common on cdi engines due to the amount of plastic piping used in the fuel supply system, shouldn't be that difficult to spot or costly to repair.

Thanks for your reply. I jet washed the underside today and took the van for a short drive. One corner of the tank was coated in diesel again. Looks like I'll need to drop the tank and check the pipes and connections as you've advised.
