Hi,

While I wait for the phone call from the garage to tell me how much this going to cost me, i was wondering if anyone could shed possible light on what may have happened.

Driving to work last night, about a 40 min journey ,stopped and and put a quick £10 of diesel in and continued on, i came of a roundabout and the EPC light came on and the car died ,with alot of smoke coming from under bonnet and the smell of fuel was overwhelming !.
Popped the bonnet carefully as there was still alot of smoke, from what i could see , fuel was all over the the engine and, underneath the car on road and along the road for about 50 meters.
.while waiting for the AA i did try to start it again after about 30 mins, she fired up no problem with no warning lights but died after about 20 seconds. then just turns over nicely.

worse case scenarios ???

Cheers in Advance

Looks very like a fuel supply pipe off or burst/split.
If it is then a simple peplacement should do the job.?
