1991 300 ce amg coupe..

irritating intermittent problem..

car starts and runs okay when cold.. when it warms up it sometimes goes into what i now call "sick pig" mode..

lack of fuel during the pick up and under very light throttle.. once its got rid of the car runs perfectly.. park it up for a week and "sick pig" mode is guaranteed to come back.. run the car every day and its okay..

once the light throttle pick up period is passed the car runs exactly like it should.. totally random fiddling with everything that might have an effect has always got rid of it but not in any useful way and it seems to always come back as soon as the car is left stood for few days..

basically something is messing the mixture up... too weak during the pick up phase..

any ideas... an old mechanic who can say... ahhhh yes i remember what used to cause that... he he
