A hard one for me as I do not have the AMG version, I know that the AMG does not have a spare wheel owing to a pump or something in the well.

Something as simple as pump rubbing the bodywork?

As earlier, I know that a pump of some sort sits in the space where a spare wheel goes in an AMG car

There is only the roof pump and locking pump in the boot, thats on the near side,

There is a pump where the spare sits, its for the tyre fix kit to blow up a puntured tyre! It WONT be that!

In the 55 you have two pumps, the in tank pump M3 plus a low pressure pump the M3/1 this is why it does not have a spare wheel, There is another fuse box on the 55 for this in the spare wheel recess

This will be the low temp pump that the 55 has, but the 500 does not have
