Yes it has been done ............. but posting up the findings are futile ............. some people still won't be happy ........... (not that anyone gives a tosh) ............ something about an ISO 9000 & something number for the test ...............

That's an urban myth, they all knew the earth was round, watch QI, Stephen Fry knows all the answers but even he cannot confirm a remap gives better MPG figures!

Other than photographs, which could lie as they are working in a limited visible spectrum, has there been any conclusive evidence the earth is circular and not really flat, but seen from infinity it appears circular

Sorry, you've lost me. Here's why:

1. If you take a globe and flatten it, there's an edge all around it.
2. I don't think the earth is big enough to reach to infinity and back
3. Phileas Fogg travelled around the earth in 80 days!

Don't know about satellites but there's no such thing as gravity, the earth sucks.
