I am a new member and just wanted some advice on a fuel problem on the above car.
Recently changed the glow plugs no problem and changed the fuel filter at the same time. Really bad starting as a result I had to bleed the HP Fuel lines to remove the air from the fuel system and start the car.
The car ran ok for a few days then starting problems occured, on examination of the plastic fuel lines all were full of air bled HP lines started the car ran ok for two weeks then same thing again.what are the common problems asociated with MB fuel systems???

Hi & Welcome, the fuel run back tubes from the injectors can perish letting air in. Common to most diesels to just MB.

Very common problem and many answers here on how to solve it, do a search. It is a matter of fitting O rings and making sure that the whole system including the return to tank is air tight.
