I have a -91 300CE where "Thunderstorm and Lightning" killed the remotereceiver on my alarm-Central lock, after a quick shortcut of main control motherboard in alarm unit I succeded to disable alarm and it started fine.. went to Sweden (3644km drive) and drove for 3 weeks.. suddenly it stopped... and wont start, I suspect Fuelpump but can not be sure because erlier probs with imobialiser/alarm.. Do any one know how to disconnect imobialiser completely? Alarmindicator and central locking is of so should Imobialiser also be but how can I be sure?

Yes its my car since 5 years back, its a French import to Spain, Im the 2nd owner and my "pearl" has only 105000 on the meter... Its in mint condition..
Engine starts, just checked that I get egnition sparks on the plugs so it looks like fuekpump, fuelfilter or something electric :-(

But it still would be a release to be able to switch alarm on and of manually and not to be worried by imobialiser to cut the engine....

Usually, if the dash lights come on, then the immobiliser is not usually the problem.
With my less insulated vehicles, a wander round to the fuel pump will indicate if it is working. (My old Range Rover fuel pump is cunningly sited just in front of the rear wheel where it collects all sorts of rubbish. A quick tap with a Mancunian Screwdriver tends to awaken it).

Seriously though my coupe did a similar trick and it was the relay on the bulkhead which needed replacing. (Try a vigourous tap first)

Mine was a Siemens 72UD406, but yours might be different, as mine is a later car.
George.
